Redbox training
Chat
The main chats page allows you to start a new chat straight away.
There are 3 example prompts to help you get started, or you can type your question directly into the text box labelled "Ask anything".
Once you are ready, click send or press the enter key. This will generate a response from Redbox.

Creating new chats
You can continue asking questions in your current chat. Alternatively, you can create a new chat by clicking the "New chat" button.
Chat history

As you create chats you will notice that these appear in the "Recent chats" panel.
Clicking on any of these will take you to that chat, where you can continue the chat, and look back at past Redbox responses.
By clicking on the three dots next to a chat, Redbox allows you to delete a chat, rename it, and print it.
Your chats will be saved in Redbox for 30 days. After that, they will be deleted for security and privacy reasons.
Prompt hints and tips
A prompt is simply a question or command you give to Redbox. The way you phrase your prompt matters because it affects how relevant and accurate the answer will be.
- Be specific and clear: Identify the exact task, specify the source and provide context.
- Use an action word: Direct the tool on what you need the output to be. Examples include: "Summarise", "Describe", "Write".
- Use complete sentences with punctuation
- Do not use abbreviations
- Refine and iterate prompts during your conversation
- Tell Redbox what you want and do not want
- Validate your response
